BEAUTILLION SPONSORSHIP

The Arlington-Grand Prairie Guide Right Foundation Inc. (AGPGRF), is a non-profit educational, scholarship and community involvement organization that has operated continuously since 1993. It is affiliated with the Arlington-Grand Prairie Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. The AGPGRF provides educational and occupational guidance to young men from various backgrounds. The continuous success of AGPGRF is derived from its ability to help young men achieve noteworthy goals they've set for themselves. More importantly, it is the mission of these young men to make significant contributions to the community through their leadership and personal effort. The Beautillion is a program that provides scholarship opportunities to male high school seniors. Since 1993, the Arlington-Grand Prairie Guide Right Foundation has awarded more than $190,000 in scholarships. The Formal Beautillion Presentation is held in the spring of every year and is designed to highlight the participants' development, accomplishments and talents of the students (Beaus.) Program activities begin in the fall and provide a structured atmosphere for young men in their senior year of high school. The environment fosters social, cultural and intellectual development. Young men are for this program based on their character, academic performance, talent and involvement in leadership and extracurricular activities. During the Beautillion Program, each participant will have the opportunity to earn a scholarship that can be used at a college or university of the recipient's choice. Additionally, participants are provided information on available scholarships outside of the Metroplex Beautillion Program, financial aid opportunities and internships. The eligibility for a scholarship award will be based on the young man's participation in the instructional program (weekly sessions and field trips), individual academic record, extracurricular activities, ticket and ad sales, and timeliness (attendance; completing assignments. With these activities in place, the Beautillion Program improves the lives of the students (Beaus) and helps them to attend college.
